The Accident


On November 30th 2007 at 8:20pm Kaylee and Michelle was in one of the worst car accident I have seen. The road was wet and they lost control of the car. The car flipped 2 times and landed upside down in the ditch. Kyle, Kaylee's cousin and Michelle's boyfriend, was in a truck behind them and witnessed it all. Upside down in the ditch, Kaylee realized she had to do something and do it fast. With Kyle's help, she and Michelle crawled out through a 12in space through her window.

The Ride
When Annette and I got to the Hospital in Santa Cruz, we had only about 15 seconds to say goodbye to the girls as they were being air lifted out to San Jose Regional Medical Hospital. Our heart sunk and our prayers went up to God for them.  I later told the girls if they wanted a ride on  the helicopter I could have arranged it without car damage.

Annette and I were praying all the way over to San Jose asking for Gods help.

Diagnoses


After going through a long tube called a Cat Scan and X-rays, the girls went back to the Trauma Center where they received more treatment. Annette and I ran to Kaylee and Michelle and we all prayed to God and gave Him thanks that they were still alive. The Doctors were concerned that there spine, or other organs may have been damaged.

The Miracle Girls
The Doctor final came with the results and as we nervously awaited the results. The Doctor said that they were lucky to be alive. He told us that the only thing wrong with them, were a few bumps and burses. NO broken bones, NO internal injuries’, and nothing wrong with the spine. 


You talk about joy in the morning! We all thank God and praise Him for looking over our girls.
